9-10 Discussions with PasiToivanen and JarmoHeikintalo about RNC organisation. It seems that Flexi has much more logical and simple organisation. Ours is just mixing things up, there are too many departments and at least I have not understood the power/responsibility relations btw these departments. It seems that some of them are there just because they were there in the earlier two organisation and there is unwritten rule that you must not, well you know what. Now e.g. the program managers are hiring chief architect, not the Head of architecture department (or is there such anymore). Furthermore, the new chief engineer are not eihter in Torkkola's program dept or in Heikkinen's release dept (is there any real reason for having these two separate ) or in X's architecture/systems deparment. No, chief architects will in whereever they happened to be before the nomination. Strange!
