The high point of the day: a lecture by Dr. Ross, the deputy chief scientist of NASA. Interesting stories about what NASA is up to, ad what kind of inventions they have done lately. And one good quote: "Bad data is worse than no data, since bad data misleads".
Otherwise a rather uneventfull day. A couple of lectures, some literature searches in the library, and reading about the Soviet space program. Fascinating.
More later, maybe tomorrow. Now, too late.
Oh, read this. According to Lazu's blog homophobia is so rampant in USA, that men are afraid to have dinner together, lest they appear gays. How ridiculously stupid attitudes and fears can people have? And what is wrong with homosexuals, anyway? Why should one panic if someone else consideres one gay? Why should it matter?
Or then not. Now, Lazu has received some emails. Read what he has to say.
An interesting article about peaking oil production. We are going to see more collateral damage, maybe millions, soon enough.
