Todella kummallista. Nykyisin herään ihan ilman herätyskello virkeänä ennen seitsemää ja ehdin duuniin ennen yhdeksää vaikka pyöräilen tunnin ja käyn aamiaisella matkan varrella.
Vastaavasti sitten kyllä lähden töistä ennen iltakuutta.
Ennen oli ihan mahdotonta herätä ennen kasia ja ehtiä töihin ennen kymmentä.
Vanhuus iski ja tämmöiset konventionaalisen konservatiiviset aikataulut.

Google Mapsin mukaan Tukholmasta pääsee Barcelonaan julkisilla eli junalla 34 tunnissa. Mikäs siinä, voisi olla kivaakin.
Vaan onko missään palvelua, joka möisi minulle liput koko matkalle siten, että voisin maksaa ne yhdellä kertaa webissä ja liput tulisivat kännykkääni. Tai edes paperisina.
Lisäksi tarvitsisin jonkinlaisen vakuuden, jotta yhden 10 junamatkasta myöhästyminen ei aiheuttaisi koko matkan tyssäämistä. Ja olisihan se kiva, jos saisi samasta palvelusta puoleenväliin vaikka Kölniin hotellin. Tai ihan superia olisi yöjuna makuupaikan kera.
Onko tämmöistä? Jos ei, niin eikö olisi EU:n tehtävä masinoida tämmöisen syntyminen? Vähän semmoista mobility-as-a-service, mutta ilman, että matkalla täytyy henkilöautoilla metriäkään.

A new premium feature for FB: An automatic system for removing ex. spouses from one's photo collection and timeline. Pricing 0.25$ per picture and update. With volume discounts, of course.
Reason: it seems that when people divorce, they have a need to remove pictures of their ex from FB. This must take a lot of time manually and be emotionally painful. Much better to make it automatic, using AI!
No, I have no need for this new feature.

KLM has made an innovation: a self-service luggage check-in. The little machines in front of the men in the picture. Just like Macs in the 1990s! Wohoo!
Except that it does not really work. Problems:
- one must use another machine to print the luggage tag. So, one must use two machines for no reason. Two queues.
- KLM does not trust that us passengers could us the machine. Instead, they have their personnel operate the machine, standing, with very pad ergonomics.
- The machine was much slower - even for KLM personnel - than the normal system. Long queues.
- One of the machines claimed that "Unauthorized bad on the belt. Call flooroperator". The belt was empty. The operator keyed in the pin "3810#" and reseted the alarm. Three times.
Sometimes adding new technology is not the right solution.

Funny that I did not participate in any Dilemma activities during my studies. I participated mostly pacifist activities of the Peace Pipe, the anti war hippies drinking club.

Täytän 50 vuotta ensi kesänä. En kyllä tunne itseäni yhtään vanhemmaksi kuin täyttäessäni 30. Kuntokin on melkolailla samanlainen eikä sairauksia ole ilmennyt. Tukka on entisellään, pitkä ja paksu. Partakaan ei ole vielä valkoiseksi muuttunut.
Taidan järkätä isot kemut. Tartten ison tilan, jonka yhteydessä kivaa ulkotilaa. Missä semmoinen on. Ei tartte olla halpaa. Saa olla. Ois kiva olla hyvin julkisten yhteyksien varrella.
